A St. Patrick's Cathedral Parishioner: Dorothy DayThe 5:30pm Mass on the second Saturday of every month is dedicated to the cause for canonization of Dorothy Day. This beloved New Yorker enshrined the Works of Mercy in her ministry at the Catholic Worker Movement and devoted her life to serving the poor and the marginalized of New York City. Her radical commitment to justice and peace continues to inspire many Catholics. Attendees of the Mass gather not only in prayer but also in solidarity with her enduring legacy of compassion and nonviolence.
